Everyone of us know what it is… yup I’m gonna write about the world’s most popular social networking site facebook. We all aware that we can poke friends, chat with them, update our status, play games etc… but have you ever thought why Mark Zuckerberg ,the founder of facebook kept its name as “facebook”??? Here is the reason why it is so. Actually Mark Zuckerberg borrowed this concept from his prep school “Philips Exeter Academy” which published a printed manual containing the photos and details of all the students and faculties to make it familiar. This book was unofficially called the “face book”. This concept was buried deep in his mind, and it was dug out from his mind on October 28 2003 when he is doing his second year in Harvard University. On that night he was blogging about a girl who had refused him and was trying to concentrate on things that would make forget about her. Being a computer science student he led his thought in creating a online facebook. For that he hacked in to the Harvard university computer networks and copied the houses private dormitory ID images. This initial site which he created registered 450 visitors and 22,000 photo views in just 4 hour online of that site and this paved the way for the current facebook.
